Winter Break in Charleston | Augusta Georgia Photographer | Aiken South Carolina Photographer | Content with Chloe
We took advantage of the time off from school and spent a few days in Charleston leading up to Christmas! My husband and I are originally from Athens, Georgia (really Watkinsville) but everyone has heard of the Georgia Bulldogs and knows where we are referring to! We moved from Athens at the beginning of 2015 to the CSRA which stands for Central Savannah River Area, which means we live near the Savannah River ( about 2.5 hours from actual Savannah) and this location includes counties in Georgia and South Carolina.
When we moved to the CSRA, we were much closer to the lowcountry and the coast making it easier for weekend trips pre-kids and more accessible for weddings and now family trips in those locations too! When I started visiting Charleston as an adult (I had been as a kid) I really and I mean really fell in love with the pineapples. Itβs in the architecture, the decor, and you may notice I made sure to include it in my logo! I have pineapples throughout my home as well! Why? Not just because itβs cute, but the meaning behind it represents hospitality and welcoming others as well as friendship. My hope is during your experience with Chloe Giancola Photography and when we host in our home, you feel exactly that.
I was thrilled to go visit again, it had been too long! And weβve seen Charleston in many different seasons, but this was the first time we had seen everything decorated for Christmas. I love seeing different towns decorated for Christmas, ESPECIALLY coastal ones. We enjoyed a few different historical tours, a carriage ride, ice skating, shopping, and most importantly lots of time together! Sharing a few of my favorites from our visit below!
