In the winter since I have a little more time, I like to give more attention to doing things around my home, reevaluating anything that is working or not for us, more new recipe research, more crafts, more indoor/outdoor projects with the help of my husband, and finally getting around to editing my own family’s personal photos <3
Usually I share some of this in reels on Instagram throughout the year, but I’ve decided to blog this series instead this year, naming it #contentwithChloe where I will share weekly one beauty/health product I am loving, recipe recommendations I’ve tried that the whole family appreciates, and a craft/project too!
No affiliate links here, but I will include where you can find them. I hope this winter series inspires you in the kitchen, to create something new, or most importantly in your home where I hope you feel restored and the most joy.
A quick and convenient craft
You ever just walk in your closet and think I wonder if I could make that blue!? haha
I am by no means an expert, but I have dyed a few things over the years. Sometimes I’ve let it soak in a bowl, but more often I opt for the washer for convenience and no clean up and I am able to have it soak in hot deep water for 30 minutes. I have loved this sweater for a couple years and was ready to change it up, and knowing I had about two thirds of this bottle left! I knew no matter what color blue it came out, I would love it since I am obsessed with all blues! It has a slight ombre look to it, but I think I will leave it rather than dyeing it again! I’ll be wearing it this week for sure! You can buy this bottle at Target for $3
For your flyaways
If you suffer from flyaways, this stick will be your new favorite and it lasts forever!
After I am done styling (especially in the winter with low humidity) I have a bit of flyaways at my part sticking up. This stick has been a great addition on days I do my hair, I wish I had it like 20 years ago! lol
3 dips I have on repeat
(my friend brought this to a girls night and I immediately knew I had to add it to my recipe binder)
(there are a lot of variations, sometimes I don’t have avocados on hand and I still make it and it tastes fabulous with any chips)
(I was inspired after having it at a restaurant recently and knew I wanted something similar for us at home)
