7 things you don’t need to worry about on your wedding day | GA & SC Wedding Photographer

If you are new here, welcome! I’m Chloe, a small business owner in Evans, Georgia and professional photographer since 2012. I love being at home with my husband and three kids, trying new crafts and recipes, and getting to visit the lowcountry when I can. I’ve been photographing weddings for close to 12 years now and couldn’t love it more!

  1. Wedding favors (Unless it is important to you, don’t feel obligated, often guests forget to grab them on the way out!)

    2. Matching bridesmaid dresses
(It’s been the tradition forever, but different style necklines and even different fabrics can look stunning if you want a less uniform look. Your girls will also love you for it, and might actually wear that dress again.)

    3. Bouquet & Garter Toss
(Couples still absolutely do it, but in the past years it has been on the steady decline, and if you choose not to no one really notices anyway I promise!)

    4. Uncomfortable shoes the whole day
(Wear your stunning heels, but after all the photos are done and you want to dance and run around saying hi to everyone, pick something more casual for the rest of the night.)

    5. What photos to take (Your photographer knows the flow of the day, can adjust to changes, and you can trust them to guide you! You should just be enjoying your day!)

    6. The weather (It will change, don’t stress yourself out the entire week checking leading up to it. Have a rain plan, have a photographer who can create beautiful images regardless, and remember all that matters is getting married.)

    7. Suggestions or expectations from others (While most are well meaning, do what is most important to y’all! Make your day your own!)
