Lyndsey and Matt | Athens GA Wedding Photographer | Newlywed Session | Chloe Giancola Photography

You may remember this couple's beautiful lake ceremony I blogged about a few weeks ago, if you want to check it out it can be found here.  Lyndsey and Matt opted for a day after session (which really wasn't the day after, but after their honeymoon) and we met up for some truly romantic pictures of just the two of them flirting, laughing, and displaying such joy from just being married! I really love the idea of engagement sessions because that's such a special time in your life to capture that excitement right before you are married. But I think newlywed and anniversary sessions are equally as important because the love you share is just as significant before the wedding as it is after the wedding. Photographing couples who are still just as excited to be together and beaming in love for one another whether it's a week or a few years after the wedding makes my heart happy.  I love to capture that for my clients, and it reminds me of my sweet husband too! Looking at Lyndsey and Matt's photos makes me want to get an anniversary session soon too, because marriage and unconditional, committed love is definitely something worth celebrating!

Happy Friday friends! Enjoy!

Cumberland Island | Memorial Day Weekend | Athens Georgia Wedding Photographer | Chloe Giancola Photography

This past Memorial Day weekend this year my husband and I visited Cumberland Island for the first time with two sweet couples, Sidney & Walker and Laila & Rob. (I had to be careful not to let it slip, that the following weekend I would be photographing Sidney and Walker's proposal! Which you can find here.) We stayed in St. Marys, Georgia and it has got to be one of the cutest little historical towns I've seen, we absolutely loved it!

Here are a few pictures from our trip!
