Annie and Matt had a beautiful wedding full DIY details, perfect fall weather, and such love for each other that was evident to everyone there. Their friends and family helped create such an amazing day, adding personal touches everywhere. The historic church Annie and Matt chose to get married in is only opened a few times a year, so it was really neat capturing their ceremony in a one room church dating back to 1820. It began to rain when I first arrived, so we grabbed a few of the bride and groom with an umbrella, but the weather ended clearing up, and Annie could not have looked more radiant in her dress by Kathy Ireland.
The reception was held at a friend’s private residence outdoors, overlooking their pond and a beautiful sunset as Annie and Matt had their first dance. The bride and her family couldn't have done a more fabulous job including her family making the food, the bride making the programs, and her mom making the wedding cake! The colors in this wedding were to die for, and one of the sweetest details was a purse Annie’s friend gave her to carry on her big day. It’s been passed around to many brides who carry it on their wedding day, write their wedding date in it, and pass it on to the next bride to get married. How sweet! These two are a blast and had all their friends and family laughing and crying the whole time, myself included. I could not thank them enough for asking me to capture their day!
